育种技术的研究和发展有力地推动了优良品种的更新换代,目前农业发达国家已进入以“生物技术 + 人工智能 + 大数据”为特征的育种 4.0 时代。本文通过对2017-2021年间全球玉米育种技术领域相关专利数据 挖掘与分析,重点从主要专利布局区域、权利人、技术分布、热点分布以及高价值专利等方面分析发展动态与竞争态势。分析发现,美国是玉米育种技术的专利领先国,专利申请和高价值专利分别占全球的40%和69%,专利研发机构为跨国种业企业集团为主。我国玉米育种技术专利申请排名全球第三,研发机构以科研院所、大学为主,但高价值专利偏少,仅为美国的5.86%,专利整体质量相对偏低,与美国仍存在较大差距。最后提出加强玉米育种技术研发与专利布局、推动玉米育种技术产业化、提升玉米育种专利质量等建议。

The study and development of breeding technology has effectively promoted the upgrading of excellent varieties. At present, the agricultural developed countries have entered the breeding 4.0 era characterized by "biotechnology+artificial intelligence+big data". Based on the data mining and analysis of patents related to the global corn breeding technology field from 2017 to 2021, this paper focuses on the analysis of development trends and competition trends from the main patent layout areas, obligees, technology distribution, hot spot distribution and high-value patents. The analysis shows that the United States is the leading country in patents of maize breeding technology, with patent applications and high-value patents accounting for 40% and 69% of the world respectively. The patent R D institutions are mainly multinational seed industry enterprise groups. The patent application of maize breeding technology in China ranks third in the world. The R D institutions are mainly scientific research institutes and universities, but there are few high-value patents, only 5.86% of those in the United States. The overall quality of patents is relatively low, and there is still a big gap with the United States. Finally, suggestions were put forward to strengthen the research and development of maize breeding technology and patent layout, promote the industrialization of maize breeding technology, and improve the quality of maize breeding patents.
