川单99是以抗逆、高产、耐瘠和广适为育种目标,以自交系ZNC442为母本、SCML0849为父本育成的突破性玉米新品种。川单99先后通过了云南中高海拔地区、广西和四川山区省级审定和西南中低海拔地区、西南青贮玉米和黄淮海青贮玉米国家审定,具有突出的抗逆广适、高产稳产和粮饲兼用特性。总结和分析川单99在各级区域试验和生产试验中的产量表现及其抗病性、适应性、子粒品质和青贮品质等试验结果,在评价其突出的丰产性、稳产性和适应性基础上,对该品种的选育与推广经验进行总结和探讨。

Chuandan 99 is a breakthrough maize variety using inbred lines ZNC442 and SCML0849 as female and male parents, respectively, which satisfy the breeding objectives of stress resistance, high yield, barren tolerance and extensive adaptation. With its characteristics of broad tolerance, high and stable yield and dual usage of grain and forage, Chuandan 99 has successively been approved in 3 provincial trials, including middle and high altitude areas in Yunnan province, Guangxi province, and mountainous areas in Sichuan province, as well as 3 national trials including middle and low altitude region in the southwest, soilage maize in the southwest and soilage maize in Huang-Huai-Hai region. In this article, we summarized and analyzed the yield performance and the experimental results of disease resistance, adaptability, grain quality and silage quality in various regional trials and production tests. Based on the evaluation of its outstanding high yield, stable yield and adaptability, the experience of breeding and promotion of this variety was summarized and discussed.
