以武2177玉米新品系为材料,种子经1:25和1:50两种生物有机硒肥料浓度浸泡48h,在恒温光照培养箱10℃低温下冷浸7天后再25℃发芽7天,测定种子发芽及幼苗生长。结果表明,硒引发种子经低温胁迫后,显著提高了玉米种子发芽率及幼苗和根系生长。与清水对照处理相比,1:50浓度硒处理的种子平均发芽率、茎叶长度、主根长度提高了16.3%、50.0%、105.2%;根干重、根冠比提高121.7%、85.0%。尤其是硒显著提高了玉米根系和茎叶活力指数,使主根、茎叶生长呈现尖峰分布,增加了种子发芽整齐度。因此,1:50浓度硒肥浸种48 h增强了低温胁迫下玉米种子的抗逆性,具有显著的促根壮苗作用。

Corn seeds of Wu 2177 hybrid lines were soaked with 1:25 and 1:50 concentrations of bio-organic selenium (Se) liquid fertilizer for 48 h. The soaked seeds were moved and imbibed to illumination incubator at 10℃ for 7 days, and then at 25 10℃ for another 7 days. Germination rate and seedlings growth parameters were measured. Results indicated that seeds treated with Se had high seed germination rate (GR) and strong growth potential of roots and seedlings. Compared with no Se treatment (CK), average GR, stem leaf and tap root length in 1:50 selenium treatment increased by 16.3%, 50.0% and 105.2%; dry root weight and root shoot ratio raised by 121.7% and 85.0%. More importantly, Se improved significantly vigour indexes of root and stem leaf, and the peak distributions of tap root and stem leaf growth by Se soaking increased seed germination uniformity. Thus, seed soaking with 1:50 concentration of Se fertilizer for 48 h enhanced resistance under low temperature stress for corn, and had obvious effects in promoting roots and seedlings development.
